My Mission

As a therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and assist you in creating the life you desire. While we can't change difficult situations of the past we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques we will work together to resolve issues and lead you to experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Therapeutic services include Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Premarital Counseling, Family Therapy, Disordered Eating, Parenting, and Co-Parenting.

Experience & Education

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and completed my undergraduate degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Specialization in Foods and Nutrition. Prior to becoming a Licensed Counselor I was a practicing Nutritionist providing education and counseling to individuals and families through educational classes, workshops, and private counseling. I am verified through the American Dietetic Association and incorporates my knowledge of foods and nutrition into my counseling practice when dealing with relationship with food issues as well as Eating Disorders.

My clinical experience includes community mental health, psychiatric residential treatment facility, adolescent day treatment facility, private practice, and community and private nutritionist services; all with experience in individual, group, and family methodologies. I am trained as a Parent Coordinator through the Cooperative Parenting Institute in Atlanta and provide various services through that training. I additionally have extended training in various areas including certifications and facilitator training with Prepare Enrich for couples work, The Marriage Breakthrough, The Nurturing Parenting Program, Cooperative Parenting and Divorce, and Reaching Difficult Kids and Families program. I continues to seek, and value, personal education and training in all areas of interest in order to best serve my clients.
